Hey y’all! Welcome to my blog! Words cannot describe how excited I was to finally have my own World Race Blog! This feels like something I’ve dreamt of for so long! SO, the fact that you’re sitting wherever you are, reading this, feels so surreal to me!
First off, my name is Gracie and I’m from Fort Worth, Texas! A big city that actually feels pretty small because I’ve been here my whole life! I am nineteen years old and just finished my freshman year at Texas Christian University! I am studying art history and psychology and minoring in Spanish, religion, and studio art—ALOT, I know. What can I say? I have big dreams! As for what I want to do with the rest of my life, I am still figuring that one out. I would love to go into full-time ministry but being a museum curator could be pretty epic, too. I do know that at some point, I want to live in Spain or a Spanish-speaking country for at least a year—if not longer!
I am a huge people person and truly just enjoy spending time in community and conversation! I could spend all day talking your ear off about everything from Jesus to deep theology questions & controversies to how my dogs are bilingual. I am an avid coffee drinker and unique mug collector (it’s kind of a problem) and could spend hours strolling through art museums. If you can’t find me, chances are I’m camped out at a coffee shop or in an art museum! I love the rain and cloudy days and I could eat my weight in pasta. I love to read, paint, draw, and journal! As cheesy as it sounds, my favorite book is the Bible because you cannot find any book better than the Word of God. If you know anything about the enneagram, I am a 1w9 and am very much the “mom” of the group—but I hate making decisions! I truly adore Jesus with my whole heart and want everyone to know who He is. I have such great passion for the Gospel and for it to be spread to the ends of the Earth. I want everyone to know of the Lord’s marvelous glory and the abundant life of freedom and joy that only He makes possible!
As for the World Race & why I’m here? You’re going to have to check out my first blog post for that! 🙂
Joyfully,
Gracie!
